Problem Solving through Storytelling

Why: Today we are living in a world full of challenges and uncertainties. At the same time, it is a world of opportunities and possibilities too. Children need to have an open mind, adapt to growth and change, pre-empt, and analyse a situation without bias and develop a critical thinking attitude. They need to develop the power to take challenges head-on and think out of the box. Imagination is the key and storytelling is the tool to empower them to think better, solve better and dream big. 

What: A 2-day Storytelling Workshop where kids of age group 11-13 years are initiated into the art of interpreting a story, telling a story, and living a story in real life. 

How: We aim to bring the exciting world of storytelling to children where they are sensitized about the environment and are taught basic life skills to develop consciousness to overcome complicated challenges with élan through lively interaction and role-plays. 

You’ll learn:

• Mindset Shift: A challenge is an opportunity and that should generate excitement instead of fear. By the end of the workshop, kids will be able to tackle challenges proactively.
• Effective Listening & Focus: Your child will master the art of effective listening and enhance concentration amidst chaos.
• Critical Thinking: Kids will be taught the tricks to analyse situations through multiple perspectives basis location, occasion, and innovation.
• Expert Communication: Participants will be involved in a series of exercises and role plays to be effective communicators.
• Power of Influence: Good stories are the perfect recipe of influence. Get ready to be surprised as your kids’ power-up to influence through their storytelling skills.

What is Storytelling in Action?

Once your kid has successfully completed Level I, he/she is now fully prepared to apply storytelling in all practical situations. In this workshop, we will handhold participants in further enhancing their ability to conceive an effective story, learn the art of visual storytelling, and learn the art of presentation.
